KD is as defensive as a person you can get. Of course he would.

As much as I view KD as a two faced, thin skinned, cancer... I also don't think he is lying.

For one, this team never, at any point, showed any amount of fire that would lead one to suspect they are capable of fighting each other. And, secondly, Cousins is a totally disconnected loser, who flamed out everywhere and has always been desperate for headlines and he loves to whine.

He claims he has a "source" on the suns but the only player on the Suns he ever played with was KD, they played together during KD's super toxic final season in Golden State. So I am guessing he just kinda hates KD and is full of crap.

I really don't think KD would lie about this. He doesn't have any incentive too, he is about to leave, and quite frankly he would like an excuse for how bad the team was last year.
Durant has plenty incentive. He’s trying to direct and sell himself to a new team and an extension. That’s plenty of incentive for him to shoot this down quickly. There was some funky chemistry and body language on this team last year. Probably why Bud checked out too.

I think some people are viewing it from a weird angle, or maybe I am. If it happened, which I think it did, it could have been minor in nature and not reported because it was your usual heated argument that happens in lockers rooms regularly. That's why no one broke the story, it wasn't unusual and if every heated argument was reported by guys like Sham, Gambo, or Hollinger then they'd be talking about them constantly and no one would care. It's a non story that became a story because of how it's reported. The lack of details allows everyone's minds to create their own story.

Ultimately it's likely nothing worth our attention but there's no games being played at the moment and everyone is on pins and needles waiting for something to drop that really warrants attention.

Holding onto to Booker for too long like the Blazers did with Lillard is malpractice. We should be trading him to San Antonio for the #2 pick and resetting the timeline around Dylan Harper and future picks from the KD trade. I realize he’s stating because we can pay him the most money but when he eventually wants out it will be nearly impossible to trade a player making $75m a year.

I am certain we could get the #1 pick with Booker if we wanted

Yeah, I don't know why they are trying to "rebuild" around Booker. By the time they get a structure of actual young talent around him (assuming their FO is even capable enough to do so), Booker himself is going to be heading over the hill. And it's not like he is trending towards staying healthier as the years go on, either.

If the Raptors were that interested in KD, we should immediately move to trade Booker there for draft picks until the end of time… which judging by what’s going on in Iran, could be sooner rather than later!
