I use one called Pop-up Stopper, but I rarely use it because pop-ups have SOME uses...

No prob. If you like it, great. If not, Mikey knows of one or two pop-up stoppers/eliminators...

Dbax - sounds like you need to run a program like adaware or something else to get rid of ad programs and spyware that are putting some of the pop ups on your screen.

Go here www.lavasoft.de and download ad-aware. Its free.

Google has...

A beta release of its new toolbar with pop-up blocker. I've just installed it and tried it, and it is very nice. I like it better than panicware's and EMS's.

Plus, you always have a google search box at the top of your browser.

I think they do log the pages you visit for stats, but they don't ask for personal info.

Glad its working out for you - this is my 3rd pop-up stopper and so far its pretty seamless. I like it!

I heard it was invented by Anquan btw. :p

Does the "Autofill" function on the toolbar remember passwords, or just name and address?

Just your name, address, and credit card infomation (if you input it).

I think that while it may make life a little easier, I'm not comfortable with that...I don't use it as a result.
