The Aaron Rodgers storyline in the Steel City has been unfolding since the beginning of free agency — and it isn’t stopping anytime soon, as the Steelers’ newly drafted RB Kaleb Johnson posted a training photo of himself and Rodgers on social media.
The screenshot of Johnson's Instagram story was captured courtesy of Blitzburgh and featured a photo of Rodgers sitting on the floor of a ProActive Sports Performance training facility — with a "handshake" emoji serving as the sole caption.
On Friday, Steelers President Art Rooney II spoke highly of Rodgers' desire to play in Pittsburgh for the 2025 season — which could be part of why Johnson now has the opportunity to call the Steel City his new home.
Rodgers' offseason workouts with Steelers WR DK Metcalf and now Johnson prove the four-time MVP may have the Black and Gold on his mind — and it's only a matter of time before the signing becomes official.
