The Whaling City Youth Baseball League kicked off the 2026 season with and Opening Day ceremony and games on Sunday, May 3. Here's a look at the first week of game action from Brooklawn Park.
Amaral’s Linguica 3, Apex 1: Ben Bernardo made a statement in the first game of his final season by throwing a no-hitter. He also went 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI and 2 runs scored.
Wonder Bowl 16, NB Fire 4: Jayce Nova led Wonder Bowl, going 3-for-3, including a home run. Jheyden Rodrigues went 3-for-3 while Nyzaiah Caban added 2 hits. Amari Azor, Colin Keagan, Anthony Torres, Leo Kelly and Kheyden Rodrigues contributed with a base hit each.
Tony’s Auto 9, Table 8 3: Ayla Soares led Tony’s, going 3-for-3 on the day. Derek Dallaire, Bobby Seamans, Wesley Rodrigues and Maverick Gaskins each had a hit. Derek Dallaire and Bobby Seamans combined on the mound to allow 3 runs while scattering 3 hits and striking out 15 batters. Isaac DaSilva led the Table 8 offense with 2 hits while Logan Cutler added a hit.
Daves 12, Palace Pizza 0: Ben Pimental, Christian Vaz and Javriel Francis had 2 hits each to power Daves while Conor Santos and Miguel Selvina had 1 hit apiece. Kameron Uzzell and Max Arunsi both had a hit for Palace Pizza.
Kitchens & Baths 4, ACG 3: ACG jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first inning after a Lincoln Oliveira single. K&B answered in the bottom half of the first, putting up 3 runs of their own after two walks and an RBI single from Jameson Silva. Both teams showcased great pitching as ACG would have Landon Amaral and Ethan Gonsalves take the mound. They combined to strike out 12 batters and scatter 6 hits. K&B’s James Reardon tossed a complete game, allowing no earned runs on 3 hits with 11 strikeouts. James Reardon’s solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning was the difference in the game.
Tremblay’s Bus 10, Lebeaus 3: Nate Martinez pitched 2 innings for Tremblay’s, allowing no runs to pick up the win. Jayce Goncalves and Liam Cormier provided relief on the mound. Martinez went 3-for-3 at the plate. Jayden Carvalho had 2 hits and 4 RBIs. Chloe Wilcox added a hit. Jeremiah Camacho and Austin Scott each had a hit for Lebeaus.

ACG 13, Debross Oil 1: ACG bounced back and picked up their first win of the season in dominant fashion. Lincoln Oliveira picked up the win on the mound, pitching 4 innings, allowing 2 hits and no runs with 5 strikeouts. Oliveira also had 3 hits on offense. Landon Amaral recorded an inside-the-park home run. Landon Medeiros, Ethan Gonsalves, Quinton Johns and Greyson Corrreia each had a hit. ACG’s Noah Lopes-Miranda, and Lilliana Besse had their first little league hits. Nico Costa and Jax Thomas recorded a hit apiece for Debrosse.
South Coast Towing 5, Daves 2: Brody Turgeon was dominant on the mound for South Coast Towing as he tossed a 2-hitter, striking out 17 batters. Turgeon had a double at the plate. Landon Medeiros had a double and 2 RBIs to help the offense. Ben Pimental pitched a solid game for Daves, going 4 innings, allowing 2 hits with 9 strikeouts. Migue Selvina and Javriel Francis each had a hit for Daves.
Table 8 7, Lebeau's 3: Table 8 picked up their first win of the season with Isaac DaSilva and Jayce Diaz combining efforts on the mound to throw a 1-hitter with 14 strikeouts. Jayce Diaz led the offense with 2 hits. Hudson Koska had a base hit for Table 8. Brian Darosa had the lone hit for Lebeau’s.
Tony’s Auto 5, Tremblay’s Bus 2: Tony’s picked up their second win of the season. Wesley Rodrigues allowed 2 runs, scattering 5 hits with 10 strikeouts. Derek Dallaire came in for relief and picked up the win. Julian Baker led Tony’s offense with 2 hits while Bobby Seamans and Wesley Rodrigues had base hits as well. Jayden Carvalho, Nate Martinez and Chalupa Cormier would each have a hit for Tremblay’s Bus.

Rio Nunes, Andrew Souza and Trae Penha had 2 hits apiece while Reese Butler, Landon Medeiros, Jaxon Amaral, and Cyrus Robles each had 1 hit. Johnny Silvia picked up his first career little league hit. Leyden Leite powered Palace Pizza with 2 hits. Max Arunsi and Justice Suarez chipped in with a hit apiece.

Jayce Diaz led the offense with 2 hits. Hudson Koska had a base hit for Table 8. Brian Darosa had the lone hit for Lebeau’s.
