POTOMAC PARK — Personal Best built an 8-3 lead and held off a late rally to defeat Flintstone, 9-8, in a Mountain League Baseball Senior Division contest Monday at Memorial Field.

Flintstone rallied scoring three runs in the sixth and a run in the seventh to bring the tying run to the plate, but Josiah Dudiak pitched a strikeout to record the save.

Daulton Harper tripled, doubled, drove in two and scored twice for Personal Best, Chase Deremer singled twice, and Deremer, Drake Pensyl, Colt Resh and Jamey Ringler had an RBI each.

Flintstone's Lincoln Hendershot tripled, Wyatt Twigg drove in a pair, and Mason Davis and Carson Wilhelm had a ribbie each.

Jacob Holberg was the winning pitcher. Braxtyn Hohn was tabbed with the loss.

Personal Best (4-0) faces Lefty's at Hamilton Field on Friday at 6 p.m.

Flintstone (1-2) is at Westernport on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Mt. Laurel 5, Northern 5

GRANTSVILLE — Mountain Laurel Medical Center took the lead in the seventh, but Northern answered in the bottom half for a Senior Division tie on Monday at Grantsville Park.

Caleb Yoder scored the tying run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh on an error by the catcher. Mountain Laurel recorded a bases-loaded walk and hit by pitch with two outs in the top half for a 5-4 lead.

Dane Van Slyke went 4 for 5 with a double for Mountain Laurel, and Brady Spotts struck a pair of two-baggers.

Northern's Bailey Turner belted a three-run homer in the fifth inning and added a double and single.

Mountain Laurel Medical Center (0-2-2) takes on Lefty's at Memorial Field on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Northern (1-1-2) welcomes Growden to Grantsville Park on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Growden 12, Westernport 2

WESTERNPORT — Six Growden batters racked up multiple hits during an 18-hit performance in a rout of Westernport in a Senior Division game on Monday.

Cam Hook and Issac Growden both tallied three hits with two doubles each. Hook drove in three runs, and Growden and Christian Riley, who was 3 for 3, had two ribbies apiece.

Channing Logsdon, who also doubled, Landon Davis and Carver Robeson all had two-hit games.

Davis went the distance for the win on the mound, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits in seven innings with 10 strikeouts and no walks.

Westernport's Braylon Cadwallader and Ryder Lewis both went 2 for 3 with a double. Reid Robison was the losing arm.

Growden (2-1) heads to Grantsville Park to face Northern on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Westernport (0-4) hosts Flintstone on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Junior Division

Flintstone 10, Outdoor Power 2

FLINTSTONE — Chase Mallow struck out 13 in a gem and the Flinstone bats tallied 12 hits in a romp of Outdoor Power in Junior Division action on Monday.

Mallow picked up the win surrendering two runs on one hits with 13 strikeouts to three walks in six frames of work. Brody Norris tossed a scoreless seventh.

Brock Divelbiss led Flintstone at the dish going 3 for 3 with a double, two RBIs and three runs, Mason Kisamore doubled, Noah Swadley singled twice and drove in two runs, and Weston Twigg and Mallow both had two singles and two runs scored.

Outdoor Power's Eston Powell, who was the losing pitcher, notched the team's two hits, both doubles.

Flintstone (3-0) battles the Travel Mug Sluggers at Grantsville Park on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Outdoor Power (2-3) takes on Casselman Valley at Holler Field on Friday at 6 p.m.

Cresaptown Eagles 15, Cumberland Rotary 3

POTOMAC PARK — Walker Smith exploded for three hits and five runs batted in to power the Cresaptown Eagles to a five-inning win over Cumberland Rotary in Junior Division action on Monday at Hamilton Field.

Carson Vonstein and Camdyn Harper had two RBIs apiece, and Smith added a double.

Harper was the winning pitcher, allowing an unearned run on a hit in three innings with three strikeouts and four walks. Vonstein gave up an unearned run on two hits in two frames of relief.

Liam Barnes was tabbed with the loss for Rotary.

The Cresaptown Eagles (4-0) are on the road at Broadford Park against Westmar Builders on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Cumberland Rotary (1-4) is at Frostburg on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
