hey, did you by any chance get there for the opening acts for that show? My friend plays rythym guitar for Echoes of Eternity who opened for Symphony X on that tour.

With the chick singer? Yeah, they were pretty cool. I gotta love any band that plays Engl amplifiers :D

I don't even like Linkin Park, but I have been listening to "N-together now" (Shut the f- up) song feat. Method Man.

Forgot how much I love that song.

At ffirst I was amazed at the regular "great driving music" anecdotes that keep popping up. I couldnt figure out what that was all about. Then I remembered: The vast majority of you spend a SHLOAD of time in yer cars sitting in traffic. Weird. My brain has been rewired completely. I dont think like that at all. I got some good subway music though!

Electric Crown - Testament
Down to Mexico - Paul Gilbert
Battery - Metallica
Cloud Connected - In Flames
Follow the Hollow - Soilwork
Smoke & Mirrors - Symphony X
Lie - Dream Theater

I could go on :D

Whenever I hear any one of those songs, they totally do "it" for me. I saw Symphony X play "Smoke & Mirrors" live last month in Tempe, and I was about ready to run through a brick wall after they played that. That song really pumps you up.

go on..

Last time I saw him he didn't look or sound like a god.

He played a show up here in Harlem about 4 months ago and from what I understand he tore the roof off the place. He's touring again with all original living stooges (the bass player dies in 75) and on bass is Mike Watt, one of the baddest hard ass bass players ever.

I saw that lineup in 2004 and they killed it. That guy has more stage presence at 62 than I ever did. hes 64 now! See him on Rollins show? Wow.

Seriously.
