As a passer? maybe. As an all around athlete? No way.

NFL QB's are different than college QB's, that's why winning that funky trophy means squat most of the time.

Skelton looks like an NFL QB back there, green yeah but of the two it's possible Skelton will do better.

Why not? :) Skelton was better than Orton yesterday.

Being down that much in the 4th should have given Tebow/Quinn a chance to get in there.

I was yelling for Tebow. It got the Denver fans yelling loud and strong -- when their own offense was on the field.

Just doing my bit to help our defense.

I would have loved to have seen Tebow tossing those pillows out there yesterday.

Hilarious.

One joker said Tebow is better because he has a 1 yard TD throw, lol. Did the suicide rate in Denver double this week? I think Tebow has a .25 yards per carry this year.

Tebow is a terrible QB. Skelton is much better. The only reason Tebow went in the 1st round is because McDaniels fell in love with him and his athletic ability and now McDaniels is gone.

I agreed with the TV commentators when they said at that point it would have served no purpose to put Tebow in yesterday. Quinn maybe but not Tebow.

.... because you drafted him in the first round and you don't want to know what he has?

The Broncos were idiots to not put Tebow in Sunday. All accounts have Tebow as a McDaniels darling, and that Tebow will be cut or traded before he gets his next bonus. Why not put Tebow out there in garbage time to collect some garbage time stats and look good to prospective trading partners?

4TDs in 14 touches in the red zone is a pretty good percentage for a rookie in his only action. If you are going to use a draft pick on a 1st rounder, you have to see if he has the goods. I can understand wanting your QB not to be forced into pressure situations, but you were down nearly 30 points at the end of the 4th quarter.

+1.
This is why I don't get the Newton love. He may end up being good, but I'm not fooled by his flashy college stats. They are meaningless.
