The criminal justice system has already addressed the criminal issue with Miles Bridges.
Who are we to keep punishing him?
Who are we to keep punishing him?
Please, no. Right now my offer would be 3 years/75 mil. and I am generous.I am not buying the "financial flexibility" bonus of this trade. I have every expectation that he's going to get an ugly extension.
Something like 3 years 100 million, maybe a bit north of that.
Yeah he is pretty lame. Between him and Jared I can’t even listen to the morning radio show anymore.
I like a lot of the younger fill ins. Hanging on to a an entire cast of 50-60 year olds in media is a mistake
I don't choose to cheer for him, is that really punishing him though? Personally I wouldn't bring in a player like Miles unless there were extenuating circumstances that justified or at least explained his behavior regardless of his status with the legal system. And since I wouldn't befriend someone simply because the legal system was through with them, I'm not interested in become a fan of Miles or supporting a franchise that would look past his history without a good explanation. The criminal justice system has already addressed the criminal issue with Miles Bridges.

I get why you feel this way. He brutally beat her. BRUTALLY. So... that's like saying...you can't judge who he is as a person because he went through a system that gave him preferential treatment as an athlete? A system that continued to award him on the biggest stage despite his sheer brutally to someone weaker?I don't choose to cheer for him, is that really punishing him though? I've been a huge sports fan my entire life. I started losing interest in baseball during the 90's with their work stoppages and constant strike threats and my "fandom" never recovered. Now I just follow them through box scores. My love for football took a huge dive when Junior Seau drove home the CTE threat and it's never coming back. I was hoping to hold onto basketball despite not liking so much of the modern game but this move just takes the challenge to a new level. I'm not "totally out" but I'm just barely in.

Nevertheless, most assuredly there are worse people walking the street.
Your PHOENIX SUNS 2026-27
New Season, New Culture, New BRIDGES On The Court
...because, hey, there are worse people walking the street!

So are you going to not watch the Suns because Bridges is on the team?
I get it. Part of rooting for a team is liking the players. I found I just could not root for KD. And the problems Bridges had are on a completely different level. I am still trying to process it.So are you going to not watch the Suns because Bridges is on the team?
There’s a difference between punishing him and liking him enough to root for him. Everyone has a right to make their own choices. I am still thinking about this one.The criminal justice system has already addressed the criminal issue with Miles Bridges.

Wow. So many of us who have been on this board since nearly the beginning are on the edge of jumping ship. Someone in the Suns front office should read this.I don't choose to cheer for him, is that really punishing him though? Miles Bridges Restraining Order Over Cyberstalking Allegations
NBA star Miles Bridges was granted a temporary restrainin...www.complex.com
This is about a perfect analogy if I ever seen one. Well stated. The Suns are like a quarterback scrambling in the pocket in the face of a pass rush.
They are trying to avoid tacklers (salary and tax) while trying to make a big pass play downfield by connecting with a tightly covered wide receiver.
Lots of fancy footwork going on. I enjoy watching all the maneuvers.
Double zero is back on the market for the Suns.Maybe one of them can wear Aught.
I am with you on Junior. I still have one of his jerseys. Now some of the guys are wearing the big helmets to try and prevent CTE. There were so many old timers I knew that kept telling me they played with leather helmets, and that metal helmets made for weapons. There needs to be something done for CTE. Just in general guys are HUGE, strong, and faster than ever, but joints haven't evolved as fast. There's that issue, too.I don't choose to cheer for him, is that really punishing him though? It was bad threw a billards ball at the car with the kids in it. Dude will pay the price the rest of his life. Every time he sees his kids when he comes here and faces the music. Hell he was going to sign a two hundred million dollar extension when he F up. Charlotte got a deal on him. He is paying the priceHe beat her senseless, trashed her car with the kids watching...
She might be a total nut, but nothing justifies your kid's mother bloody while the kids look on.
She's off the handle... you're twice her size... call the cops... hold her down... maybe don't repeatedly punch and choke her.
A while later... Oh... you've got a custody argument with her... call the lawyer? Call the cops? Nah... trash her car instead.
This is public record stuff.
I don't care how insane she is... one, make better choices, two, you can't just beat the crap out of your problems.
I mean I understand signing one more shooter, but will they really get playing time? If it's Collin Sexton sure, because he has a complete game, but someone who is just a 3 point shooter is only going to come into the game for must 3 situations.Another positive: our core/rotation players got bigger. Got rid of two slow guards for a bigger hopefully faster and more athletic guy. We need to fill in with 3pt shooters. Do we have enough with Booker, Gillespie, Brooks, Fleming?
Not arguing any of this. Just reposting pertinent info.He beat her senseless, trashed her car with the kids watching...
