man you guys are obsessed with this kid!

I just saw the 4 down one. 2nd down he misread the blitz but got away, had a guy wide open for a first but overthrew it on the run. Then a nice throw well placed on 3rd down. 4th down was a jailbreak passrush not much he could have done there

Nice throw under pressure

Great one handed catch by the WR

Sanders with some up and down plays

The arm is there, he need to put it all together

I think he has an average NFL arm his issue has always been he holds the ball too long and then gets hit. Colorado didn't have a great OL but a big reason he got sacked so much is he holds the ball. You can see it even in this game, he's made some nice throws against the blitz getting it out quickly but when the pressure isn't coming directly at him where he can see it, he's really bad at reacting and he usually runs backwards

Skip Bayless said Sanders proved he should have been the #1 overall pick. I was impressed he looked much better than I expected he would but I wouldn't say he should have been the first overall pick I think the off field stuff was justifiably held against him.

The 2nd TD was outstanding a perfect throw in a tight window. What made the first TD good was he didn't try to squeeze the ball in to #16 who immediately looks open but has a defender basically hiding there baiting Sanders into throwing it. Sanders looked that way then went back to the left to Davis for the TD.that was a very smart decision it was tempting to force it in to 16 but that probably gets knocked away if not picked.

I don't think limited reps is really accurate he's been getting lots of rep in camp, I know because they keep sending me highlights of him in camp. Flacco and Pickett are ahead of him but Pickett has been out with a hamstring injury for 2 weeks so Gabriel and Sanders got his reps. Also Flacco has been getting rested because he's old, he gets 1st team reps but not as much as a normal starter would because he's 40.

But absolutely Sanders looked really good in his first game.
