Shedeur Sanders and his father, Deion Sanders, are very outspoken.

I can certainly understand why the Sanders men feel the way they do about some of their comments, as Shedeur has been disrespected at times throughout his football career, and Deion is arguably one of the greatest to ever lace them up. All he did throughout his career was prove that he deserves to be among the legends when we talk about NFL history.

Now coaching at Colorado and watching his son from afar, playing for the Cleveland Browns, Deion hasn't been as outspoken as some would have thought.

He's definitely made comments suggesting that he believes his son should be the starting quarterback, but nothing has been too outrageous, to say the least.

Recently speaking, Deion said that his son has faced adversity, but he isn't worried about him getting through it. In fact, he expects his son to continue facing haters and proving them wrong.

“Well, of course, I'm his dad,” said Sanders, per DJ Siddiqi. “No, I haven't spoken to him (said Sanders, sarcastically). I'm just dad. Of course, man. He's gonna face haters like he's always had. He's not gonna face anything new that he hasn't faced in the entirety of his life. He's always been up against the eight ball. He's always been really undervalued, not really appreciated like he should, and he always comes through. He likes when odds are stacked up against him.”

The Sanders men will have to hope that everything goes as planned for them this year. Shedeur is currently competing for a quarterback job in Cleveland, but Deion is hopeful that his Colorado team will be much better than it has been over the past few years.
