If the Jets don’t take Reese, the Boys will trade 12 & 20 to the Cards to get him.
And we should tell them to pound sand. Stick and pick.

Although, if they do happen to trade down, then I'd be fine with Mauigoa. I can even spell his name by now. I do NOT favor a trade down, but if it happens.

There better be at least next year's 2nd in the deal. We got more than that in the Will Anderson trade.

I would be ok with this just based on the simple fact this team needs as many good players as it can get. But Monti will probably take the two worst busts of the first round, so who knows?

So we drop out of being able to get a stud and cross our fingers we can find a gold nugget instead of fools gold?

How many of you feel comfortable with MO finding a stud and another solid starter in a weak class? Or are we looking more like Dallas gets a pass rush stud and we pick up an okay tackle and a bust? Sound familiar?

Dallas can give us #12 + #20 and next years 1——-for our #3 and #65 or they can suck eggs

A very Suggs like situation.

Lossenfort at his finest. A guy who sucks at adding talent and drafting with a team that can't develop drafted players wants more picks.

I'm not that high on Reese. I don't think he helps the Cards much if they take him at #3 overall vs having picks 12 and 20

I don't think the Cardinals have shown they can develop a player like Reese. Also, when Rallis gets fired, is the next defense even going to want the same type of players at EDGE?

More arguments for why Bidwill is stupid for keeping Lossenfort and Rallis.

Probably the most likely scenario if the Cardinals trade back is Spencer Fano at 12 and Simpson at 20.

Steelers take Simpson
I don't believe they will but that is a risk I would be willing to take. I don't personally think the Cardinals should take Simpson at 20.

I think one reason the Steelers and Mike Tomlin separated is that the Steelers are looking toward the 2027 QB class and Tomlin was not interested in the franchise pulling back from their commitment to being competitive and Tomlin's streak of never being below .500.

There are no blue chip studs available at #3 except for a massive projection in Reese. I'd take 12 and 20 in a heartbeat. You won't get the 2027 1st because Dallas isnt moving up for a QB.

The tackle we want at 3 could easily be there at 12.
