The Toledo High School football team's dreams of an undefeated season are still alive after the Riverhawks shut out Morton-White Pass 47-0 in White Pass Friday night.

Toledo took a huge lead early with 32 points in the first quarter. Running back Carter Swofford went off for 211 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries — good for 26.4 yards per tote. Quarterback Eli Weeks added 108 yards on only two carries, including a 92-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, along with three touchdown passes and 107 passing yards.

"That's what we want to do is to have that fast start," Toledo head coach Mike Christensen said. "That's how we wanted to come out. I really like the way that we played up front."

MWP was held to just 105 total yards of offense and six first downs. Logan Mays rushed for 72 yards on 20 carries and completed all three of his passes for 71 yards. The Timberwolves starting quarterback Kohen Ingalsbe was unavailable.

"They're as advertised. They did a good job," MWP head coach Lee Metcalf said of Toledo. "Very physical."

MWP (3-4, 1-2 C2BL) travels to Toutle Lake next Friday. Toledo (7-0, 6-0 Central 2B League) will face its toughest matchup of the season when it hosts Onalaska (6-2, 3-0 C2BL) next Friday in a contest that will decide the C2BL East division.

"It's a big game. We just have to focus on bringing that energy for a full game. Onalaska's gonna bring it. They're a physical football team," Christensen said. "You have to get ready to play physical football. That's what we're gonna preach. It's one thing to be physical for a play or a quarter or a half, but it's a different thing to be physical for a whole game. That's what you have to do if you want to play with Onalaska."
