The Adna Pirates have been the best team in the Central 2B League all season long, and on Monday, they officially sealed the league title with a 79-42 win over Morton-White Pass.

"That was a really fun senior night for our program," Adna coach Luke Salme said. "There were a lot of smiles and celebrations in the gym tonight."

Jackson Knittle led the Pirates with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Trevin Salme added 12 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds and Lucas Fehrenbach scored 12 points of his own.

Grayson Humphrey tallied 10 points and five rebounds, while Landen Cline scored six points and dished out five assists.Talan Guerrero also scored six points, while Kannen Kephart and Kaden Richardson both scored four.

Porter Milloy capped his first year of high school basketball with two points in his first varsity start, and both Trent Kephart and James Greenwood also scored two apiece. Greenwood also added five rebounds.

"It's fun having a group of unselfish players who really enjoy one another's success," Luke Salme said.

Logan Mays added 11 points to lead the T-Wolves, while Gabriel Lisowski added nine points.

MWP (1-19, 1-15 C2BL) finished tied with Winlock for the eight and final postseason spotf rom the C2BL. As a result, the Timberwolves and Cardinals will play a tiebreaker game on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Toledo.

Adna (18-2, 15-0 C2BL) will look to complete a perfect league season on Wednesday at home against Toledo.
