The success of the Los Angeles Rams during the Sean McVay era comes from their ability to supplement superstar players with promising young talents and key veteran additions. As a result, their offense has been able to remain timeless, while the roster has overcome debilitating departures.
CBS Sports' Jared Dubin wrote that the Rams have built the best offensive infrastructure in the NFL, using McVay's offensive brilliance and Les Snead's eye for talent to create a unit that maximizes the chance for success on every offensive snap.
The numbers speak for themselves, with Stafford leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns, while Puka Nacua and Davante Adams were the league leaders in receiving yards per game and touchdowns, respectively. However, the true brilliance of the Rams' tactics to roster construction comes from Dubin's own words.
The offensive line, pass-catchers, and running backs, the three positions that Dubin applauds the Rams for maintaining such high standards for, have remained intact and have been invested in constantly. With new faces like CJ Daniels, Keagan Trost, and Max Klare ready to help, the Rams not only have production within their starting lineups, but also have great depth at every major position on offense.

And then we come to the two best offensive ecosystems in the NFL: Chicago and L.A. Ben Johnson and Sean McVay are two of the very small handful of best offensive minds in the league. The pass-catching groups have either huge stars (Rams) or great depth (Bears). The offensive lines are above-average to good, and the running backs are solid.
When you account for the quarterback, the Rams have the advantage, and that's why Matthew Stafford was able to win MVP last year, but in a vacuum, Caleb Williams has just about as good a chance for success on a play-to-play basis as he does because of the talent around him on all areas of the field.
