Cowherd is a front runner...you can go back and find lots of clips very high on Keim and Murray.
Yes! I was trying to think of the term but your right he is a total front runner.

Last week Cowherd was saying Harbaugh would be a great fit for the Cardinals.
Also said Murray was not a Harbaugh type QB.

More ommission of a Cards and Payton interview.
Yeah, it is kinda odd.

I think Texans have a decent shot actually.

Very possible that Michael wanted to get Rooney taken care of and GM hired before interviewing Payton. Or more likely 'we' are his 4th choice out of 5.

Just to reassure everyone Ian Rapport mentioned Sean Payton and Vance Joseph as candidates for the HC job when breaking the news regarding Ossenfort.

Worst case scenario.
SP takes his time before making any decisions. In March he decides to coach another team or wait until next season.

That leaves us with few options on the table since most of the prospects have taken other jobs.

That leaves us with the only candidate available. VJ.

Everyone will know where Sean is working by next Monday.

It's also odd that Texans reportedly finished their interview process. They must have done everything online only, because nobody can meet with him in person until today. He even confirmed that on Cowherd yesterday. He did say, though, he had spoken to every team Saints gave permission too.

Fwiw, Bobby Carpenter, who says he knows Payton well, said on local radio this morning that he can’t see Payton coaching the Cardinals and Murray.
Says Payton hates coaching children and Kyler Murray acts like a child.
