The Bucks County area continues to be well-represented on the 2026 Pennsylvania State Baseball Coaches’ Association all-state team.

A total of 19 area players from Class 6A (biggest schools) and Class A-4A were selected, including 15 to their respective division’s first teams, and three are repeat all-state choices. Ten of our players made it a year ago. Five standouts from three of our schools cracked the Class 4A first team.

Pennsbury first-team senior infielder Carlton Crane, a Rider commit, led the District One 6A champion Falcons in average (.538), hits (43), on-base percentage (.635), walks (23) and stolen bases (19) while recording 11 doubles and scoring 43 runs.

The two-time SOL Patriot Player of the Year, Neshaminy senior infielder Chase Bonner led state champ Neshaminy in RBIs (25), doubles (10) and home runs (3) while tying for first in average (.427) and hits (32). Committed to Rider, he was also 7-1 with 30 hits allowed, 58 strikeouts in 53 innings and a 2.51 ERA.

The Catholic League Offensive Player of the Year, La Salle senior outfielder Caden Schmidt led the PCL champion Explorers in batting average (.471), hits (33), RBIs (28), runs (32), doubles (9), home runs (5) and OPS (1.438). The Seton Hall commit was chosen as an athlete.

Pennsbury pitcher Keller Bradley, a second-team pick who attended the June 17-22 MLB Draft Combine in Phoenix, was 9-2 with 82 strikeouts and 27 hits allowed in 51⅔ innings and a 2.17 ERA for the Falcons. He is committed to Vanderbilt.

Neshaminy senior pitcher Matt Gryn went 9-1 with a 1.76 ERA, 44 hits and nine walks allowed in a team-leading 55⅔ innings. Headed to Lackawanna College, he won three of Neshaminy’s four games in the state playoffs, including the last two. He also tied for the team lead in average (.427) and hits (32).

In 4A, the Philadelphia Catholic League MVP and the Courier Times/Intelligencer Player of the Year, Conwell-Egan junior Brady Guzzie led the Conwell-Egan in batting average (.373), RBIs (21), runs (18), OPS (1.137) and tied for first in hits (22). A Virginia commit, he also went 7-1 with 105 strikeouts, 13 walks and 22 hits allowed in 57 innings, as well as a 0.61 ERA for the Eagles. He made it as a pitcher.

Senior outfielder Eddie Rosado led Holy Ghost Prep in average (.463), OPS (1.545), hits (37), home runs (8) and runs (44) and tied in triples (4). A St. Joseph’s commit, he set the school career hit record (111) with two in the 4A state final.

HGP senior outfielder Matt Evans, a DeSales commit, batted .440 with a 1.311 OPS, 33 hits, team-highs in doubles (10), RBIs (33) and was tied for the team lead in triples (4), plus he had three home runs for Holy Ghost.

The PCL Pitcher of the Year, Archbishop Wood senior Brady Sell, a Lafayette commit, went 7-2 with 104 strikeouts, 22 walks and 33 hits allowed in 60⅓ innings for the Vikings.

Wood senior outfielder Chase Cavallaro, a Chestnut Hill commit, batted .419 and led the Vikings in hits (36), runs (29) and doubles (11), plus had 19 RBIs and a three-run homer in Wood’s 3-1 PIAA Class 4A state playoff quarterfinal win.

In 3A, four-time BAL Independence MVP Cole Guy led Bristol in average (.660), home runs (10), RBIs (46), OPS (2.347), runs (38), hits (33) and triples (4) while striking out 46 in 28 innings as a pitcher. The La Salle-bound Guy set six school career records and reached 100 career hits.

Bristol junior infielder Eddie Diaz batted .508 with a 1.527 OPS, 32 hits, 11 doubles, four homers, 35 RBIs, 35 runs, 17 walks and 14 stolen bases. Bristol senior outfielder Joey Ortiz, a second-teamer, finished the season with a .574 average, 1.518 OPS, 31 hits, six doubles, four triples, 24 RBIs, 36 runs and 17 stolen bases.

In 2A, Faith Christian senior outfielder Brandon Labs, a Messiah commit, batted .417 with a 1.790 OPS, 20 hits, including 11 home runs, 31 RBIs, 39 runs scores, 20 walks and 12 stolen bases.

Faith junior outfielder Jagger Verbit hit .491 with a 1.374 OPS, 28 hits, eight doubles, two triples, 18 RBIs, 37 walks, 32 stolen bases (102 career) plus 11 walks and was hit by 11 pitches.

Faith junior Noah Wilson batted .419 with a 1.374 OPS, 26 hits, 10 doubles, four triples, three homers, 29 RBIs and 31 runs, along with a 4-2 record as a pitcher with a 0.92 ERA and 25 hits allowed in 38 innings. Picked as an athlete, he committed to Susquehanna.

In Class A, Dock Mennonite junior outfielder Ethan Kratz led the team in average (.541), hits (33), runs (30), triples (7), home runs (4) and OPS (1.711). A Monmouth commit, he had a homer, triple and two RBIs in the Pioneers’ 5-3 PIAA Class A championship game win over Eden Christian.

Senior pitcher Riley Kling won three of Dock’s four state playoff games on the way to a 1.90 ERA with 87 strikeouts, 17 walks and 49 hits allowed in 62⅔ innings.

Versatile Dock second-teamer Mason Bicht, a freshman infielder, batted .518 with team-highs in RBIs (29), doubles (9) and contributed 29 hits. He also had a 1.338 OPS and drew 11 walks.

Bonner, Bradley and Kratz are repeat all-state selections.
