I don't think anyone hates Ayton especially in Phoenix or Arizona. He has a likeable, easy-going personality.

Personally, I like him a lot.

Unfortunately, at this stage of his career, his mouth writes checks that his body can't cash.

Ayton hasn't figure out the little things of the game that play such a vital part of winning. On the offensive side I watched Sabonis do exactly what you are suppose to do on the offensive end & he does it with his good passing, his playing the angles for rebounds and gaining better position & having a knack to score and does it well but he's lacking on the defensive side of the court greatly.
While Ayton gives himself more credit than he sometimes deserves you still gotta like the kid. I would love for him to realize his potential & fulfill it instead of just talking about it. Consistentcy, learning the game better & becoming mature should be Ayton's main focus. But on that stat sheet after four games Ayton had 45 rebounds and he led a lot of Bigs that rebound category. I wished Hakeem was still training Big men and prior to that Pete Newall. As in anything or job it becomes so much more easier when you master it. Ayton will never get to a Kobe's type of determination & mindset however.
