This is rough. Im getting texts from a friend rubbing it in each team Camara does something positive. I still hate James Jones for allowing his inclusion in the Ayton deal.

Don't forget, we got Allen. Ball game!

What a weird trade.

The main figures, Dame, Ayton, Nurk, Holiday... all were abject disasters, on a huge scale, for everyone who got them. But, peripheral guys like Allen, Advija (yes, he was part of the trade) and Camara have really blown up.

Holiday did well because he was immediately rerouted to Boston. It's just Boston had a weird situation at the time because Derrick White was still playing above his level and Peyton Pritchard started coming around when Tatum got hurt so they punted on this season. Jrue hasn't been who he was in Milwaukee when his play helped push the Bucks over us. Yet another reason that deal was so weird. Teams that met in the finals sort of helping each other out so soon after.

That is fair.

A year ago it seemed like a trade where everyone lost.

But now, with Portland's return on Holiday, with Camara's emergence and with the Bucks picks and Milwaukee's self destruction, it is clear the Blazers won the trade.

The main piece of the trade, Dame, is back in Portland anyway. That would be a real feel good story if Dame came back next year and made them a real contender.

Doubt it happens, he was in decline even before the achillies, but it would be fun.

One of my best friends lives just outside of Portland and we're constantly arguing basketball. They are like the anti-Suns in they gave up the least but are in a really good spot. They are hoping Lillard can be their CP3, or at least Rubio, and lead them back to some relevancy next year. I honestly thought they'd be better than us this year but they've had some tough breaks, injuries and coach being indicted. They're apparently trying to be the dark horse in the Giannis deal, using Dame and Jrue's history to help sway him as well as the picks of Milwaukee's they own.

They definitely won that initial deal and getting Dame back helped rehab their standing with fans. Dame never wanted to leave. They've been a rudderless ship since but have collected enough assets to make a splash and build a fun team for next season if they can go all in on the right move. A team with Lillard/Jrue at PG with Sharpe, Camara, and Ajvida at SG & SF with Giannis at PF and Clingan/Hansen at C is no joke. Even without Giannis they should be a play in squad.

I just couldn't do the 9 PM start. I peaked at the score in the first quarter before I went to bed. I thought, looks like another L. WRONG! These Suns keep over performing. I can't believe how many games we have won this year when it looked bleak during the game. Incredible.

that was a really good win - hard to decide between 4 different players on who the game's mvp was - because they all fed off eachother

I had an international call at the crack of dawn this morning. I wasn't staying up for this game. The start time was ridiculous. I will watch it on DVR today.

From Tuesday: "It was just a barrage early." Jordan Ott on Suns falling behind 19 points before rallying to 130-125 win at Portland."Good road win. A lot of just mental resilience to overcome some of that shot making early."On Collin Gillespie career-high 30: "Massive." #Suns

Easily CG for me but the other three had great games as well. And the fact that they did it with a Brooks stinker makes it all the more special.
