The NFL awarded the Green Bay Packers a single compensatory draft pick in the 2026 NFL draft on Monday. The Packers are getting pick No. 255 overall in the seventh round of the draft.
Compensatory picks are awarded by the league based on signings and departures in unrestricted free agency. Last offseason, the Packers signed left guard Aaron Banks and cornerback Nate Hobbs but lost defensive tackle TJ Slaton, cornerback Eric Stokes, center Josh Myers and linebacker Eric Wilson. While the Packers could have received a seventh-round pick for losing both Myers and Wilson, the NFL's formula gave the Packers just the single pick.
Green Bay's comp pick will be the third to last pick in the 2026 draft. The Denver Broncos were awarded the final two compensatory picks at No. 256 and 257.
The Packers will likely have seven picks in the 2026 draft: a second-round pick, a third-round pick, a fourth-round pick, a fifth-round pick, a sixth-round pick and two seventh-round picks. The team's first-round pick went to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for Micah Parsons.
The San Francisco 49ers received a fourth-round comp pick for losing Banks to the Packers.
The Minnesota Vikings were awarded the top compensatory pick, the 94th overall pick in the third round, for losing quarterback Sam Darnold to the Seattle Seahawks.
