SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Ozona High School girls basketball team will face Sundown in a Class 2A area playoff at 6 p.m. Thursday in Colorado City.
The Lady Lions opened the playoffs with a 40-29 victory against Ballinger on Monday, as head coach Jerry McSherry celebrated his 700th career win against one of his former teams.
Ozona is 25-8 and Sundown is 24-12.
Thursday’s winner will face Wellington or New Deal in the regional semifinals next week.
