I will. The only "stats" that matter are the ones showing how one QB can run the offense and the other can't. Kyler's done for. He's old news. The season's done for Ws and Ls mean absolutely nothing save in regards to draft picks and maybe keeping/losing a coach's job. Jacoby, against superior teams (Indy and yes, GB--your post above was a startling self-own about GB) put up superior stats. Like, by far. Stats that belittle Kyler and his "accomplishments" this year.

Do you disagree that Jacoby has been better than Kyler this season? Or do pathetic, clinging on for victory with very little offense against two atrocious teams count for more?

Yes, laughing at your assertion is the only rational response.
Cool, so wins don't matter.

LOL You didn't see the follow up post.

Also Pittsburgh, with an "h" :BIM:
You won the argument now with that rebuttal, even though you also misspelled it. Have a great day Stout and keep ignoring reality.

Pointing to wins as the only meaningful stat based on five games for one player and two games for another seems like a pretty noisy analysis and not proposed in good faith.

With such small sample sizes, it’s really, really difficult to go beyond the eye test. Kyler also had Conner and Benson; maybe that helps contribute to a more positive result.

Stop with this. GB is not a good road team. They gave up 40 to the Cowboys and lost to the Browns. We were their first road win. Indy is right now the best team and Seattle is a much tougher match up for us.

Dude, you literally just said the post before this one that the most important stat is wins. Well the Packers are 5-1-1. Seems they are good.

And the Cowboys, until this week, had the best offensive EPA by a mile in the league.

1-10 vs 13-17 <- larger sample size

I've included that stat every time long with the 2-3 vs 0-2 and JB single win in the last 2.5 years.

You just said in another thread that meaningless wins still matter to the GM and Coach. You don't think they know these numbers?

Here is another fun stat. Kyler has 38 career win in 7 years while averaging 235 yards a game in the air, which is bad.

JB had 19 in 10 years while averaging 131 yards a game in the air, which is much worse.

Again, neither are the future. Kyler is more capable of winning with this team, by him and the Cardinals will never be more than mid. Lets please stop pretending like JB is better and going to lead us somewhere other than a top pick. There is a reason he's a career journeyman fringe starter/back up.

You’re gonna keep on with this baseless take? They’re 2-1-1 on the road. If you're over .500 on the road in the NFL you're a good road team. Especially if any of those Ws are against teams over .500, which they've done.

Says the guy ignoring reality about Green Bay's road record.

Baseless! Yup! Baseless!! And this after finally playing well against the Steelers, but go on!

We scored 23 and they give up 22.8. We played their average.

Points Against (per game)Home - 16.3Away- 22.8
Point Differential+10.7 (per game)+3.2 (per game)

I don’t care what Kyler did last year or two years ago and the same goes for Brissett.
The argument “ Kyler’s only one guy” I guess doesn’t apply to Brissett because, you know he’s 0-2. Two losses against the TOP SEED in both conferences.
Forget the stats. What do your eyes tell you?

Did you forget that Brissett has played in 89 games, but only started 53 - whereas Murray has started every game in which he appeared. E.g. Brissett has appeared in 4 games this season so his average is listed as 150 yards per game.

In games he started, Brissett has 202 YPG. So far this season, Murray has 192 YPG and since the Green Bay game in 2021, 223 YPG, whereas Brissett has 300 YPG in his games this season.

1. Okay.
2. People are different.
3. I believe it was George Washington who said "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step". Wise words that later we'll reflect back upon. :)
I'm sure everyone here wants the storybook ending to the season.
Kyler comes back from hearing all the negativity while injured. Gets a start in a place where he has never lost a game. Somewhere in the third quarter, right before the comeback rally, he realizes in his heart why he has never lost a game there. We win.
Kyler takes the epiphany all the way to the playoffs, the NFCC Game, The Super Bowl....and for the next five years the Arizona Cardinals dynasty reigns as his new found spiritual freedom inspires Harrison, Benson, Nolen, Robinson, and other young players to all pro and even hall of fame careers.
Then with the help of modern CGI technology they get the great Peter Dinklage to play Kyler in the Lifetime movie.
So let it be written!

You're almost getting it....almost. I've said 3 or 4 with these stats that its time to move on from Kyler because we won't get us past his 13-17 record, but hes OUR current best option due to OUR BACKUPS being 1-10. I didn't lose anything and the numbers are facts to support this. What facts (numbers) to you have to show I'm wrong here?
My bad I thought you were arguing that Kyler was a good starting qb.

The amount of folks who disagree with actual stats because they have the best arm chair QB eyes is astonishing. I am curious why you all aren't working for NFL teams? You'd all should be millionaires
By stats are you referring to how, with JB as QB, our offense has put up more yards and more points versus Kyler?
