Just last year K1 was 8-9 with this terribly coached team.

This year's defense is giving up 1.8 more PPG than the 2022 defense. This year's defense actually would have finished dead last in PA in 2022.

So we brought in a defensive head coach, spent most of our resources on defensive players, haven't had that many key injuries on the defensive side, and we are still worse on D than when Gannon and MO took over.
