OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball fell short of hosting a regional at Swayze Field.

The 16 teams that earned the hosting seeds for the 2026 NCAA Tournament regionals were announced May 24. The Rebels were not in that group.

Ole Miss will be on the road to play in a regional beginning May 29. They will not be sent to a regional with an SEC team as host, which means their options are: Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Oregon, Southern Miss, Kansas, Nebraska, UCLA, West Virginia and Florida State.

The Rebels (36-21) are likely slated to earn a No. 2 seed, according to the latest projections. The bracket will be announced on May 25 (11 a.m., ESPN2).
