Ole Miss baseball's first time in the NCAA Tournament super regionals since 2022 will be against an SEC opponent.
The Rebels (39-21) are matched up with Auburn (42-20). The best-of-three series will take place at Plainsman Park in Auburn, Alabama, because the Tigers are the higher seed. Auburn was a No. 1 regional seed and is the No. 4 overall seed. Ole Miss was a No. 2 regional seed.
The super regionals run from June 5-8, and the winner will make the College World Series.
Auburn clinched a spot in the super reginal by beating Milwaukee, the No. 4 seed in the Auburn regional, in a winner-take-all game on June 1. Auburn won 8-3 in the decisive game.
Ole Miss got to super regionals by sweeping the Lincoln Regional 3-0 as the No. 2 seed.
Ole Miss did not face Auburn in the regular season or in the SEC Tournament. The Tigers went 17-13 in SEC play. Ole Miss was 15-15 in conference play.

Ole Miss has gotten to a super regional eight times since 2005, most recently in 2022 at Southern Miss. The Rebels won that road super regional on their path to winning the national championship.
The Rebels have hosted a super regional in Oxford three times (2005, 2006, 2009). Ole Miss did not win any of those series.
