Oklahoma kept its season alive for at least one more day on Sunday, beating the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, Georgia Tech, 15-8, to set up third meeting between the schools in the Atlanta Regional on Monday.

The winner of Monday's game will advance to the Super Regional round. Georgia Tech had won the teams' first meeting on Saturday before Oklahoma staved off elimination in beating the Yellow Jackets after earlier doing the same to The Citadel on Sunday.

The Sooners rallied from a six-run deficit in the fourth inning when they struck for eight runs in the bottom of the frame. Brendan Brock started things with a solo shot before back-to-back RBI singles from Kyle Branch and Jason Walk made it 8-5 with nobody out in the inning. Then, after Camden Johnson walked, Deiten LaChance popped a grand slam over the right field wall to give Oklahoma the lead. Trey Gambill followed two batters later with a third homer in the inning.

Gavyn Jones had come in the fourth inning to relieve Jackson Cleveland, who gave up six of Georgia Tech's runs. Jones gave up just one hit over his two innings. LJ Mercurius then finished off the final four innings while allowing one hit and two walks to finish things off for the Sooners.

For good measure, Oklahoma tacked on four more runs in the eighth sealing things.

Every batter in the Sooners' lineup had at least one hit, led by Brocks 3-for-5 day and Walk's 3 for 6. Brock hit two homers with four RBIs and three runs. Kyle Branch also had two RBIs while Brock, Gambill, LaChance, Dasan Harris and Dayton Tockey also scored two runs apiece.

At the game's end, the first pitch for Monday had yet to be scheduled. The winner will play Kansas in the Super Regional round after the Jayhawks eliminated Arkansas earlier in the evening. If Georgia Tech wins, the game is in Atlanta. If Oklahoma wins, they'll face their former Big 12 rival in Lawrence.
