Several guys advocated for him last year in the draft. I was pretty set against it.
I am not a fan of sub 300lb guys on the IOL,... then I watched a game,...wisconsin I think it was...and some no name never getting drafted DT just threw the kid all over the field, put him on his back.... didnt look good for a guy that would have to face AD twice a season.
but the kid bulked up to 305. He started the entire season..missed like 5 snaps.
while he did allow 26 hurries,..he only fumbled 1 snap,...and accrued 6 penalties,...3 holds and 3 false starts. Pretty decent stat line for a rookie center....which is why he made the all rookie team.
he should only improve. Looks like I missed on that one.
