That video shows so well how to deliver a blow without putting the other player at risk for significant of injury.

The one statement made that it is about respect hits the nail on the head and that is what guys like Harrison have none of, respect for their opponent.

Nice find Joe L, thanks for posting it.

It is a fine line between a clean hit and one that crosses the line. What I mean by that is several players have stated that hitting a moving target makes it difficult to always stay away from the head and neck. Counter point is that they are world class athletes who can and must practice and learn to avoid illegal hits.

Steve Tasker was on KTAR and said that coaches will find players who can make effective and clean hits.

The tough part is, the refs do a poor job of calling it on the field. Two of the hits that were shown, one as illegal other as a correct hit, received the opposite call in the game. I know the game is going at a ridiculous speed, but if they are gonna enforce these hits so strictly, they should be able to challenge them when the ref misses it. The fact that Harrison's hit wasn't even flagged just shows you how far off they are from accomplishing this in real time right now.
