We’re a dog crap franchise that drafted the wrong player and gave him a terrible contract, crippling our ability to build a roster.
That’s not even close to being true.
Cards have been here for 38 years. What is the excuse for the other 31 years?

Let me guess they didn’t have stadium revenue stream?

Or, they are a dog crap franchise with hillbilly owners.

Stop making excuses for crap owners.

This breakup is about as big as it gets for sports fans. It's made monsters of us all.

It's not you Kyler, it's me.
Okay, it's definitely both of us.

He may be on another team, but as fans, don't we follow players from all teams? There's no way he won't be in all of our crosshairss to some degree. Whether we like it or not, we can't truly talk about the history of the (AZ) Cards without mentioning him.

Let's forge ahead, remembering the greatness cemented into our (AZ) legacy.

YOUR 2008 NFC CHAMPION:
ARIZONA CARDINALS

Yes we’re all going to find out soon enough. He’s been getting killed lately by local media saying he will fade the back half of the season like he always does. They could be right, but we’ll see. I think everyone is mostly predicting that bc if the opposite happens it will lead to regret. It would be very Cardinals-esque for him to be amazing this season.
They are praying for his failure so they don’t look like total morons for this move.

Where did I excuse the owners?

Both can be (and are) true.

Bidwill is a terrible owner. Kyler's contract was a crippling mistake that is STILL a massive hindrance.

We’ll all be following the Vikings closely closely this year and if you deny it you’re lying.
I'm not sure about closely but there will be a lot of interest, for a couple of games...
Just like Tua in Atlanta and Willis in Miami
Is it redundant to say you're watching how Minny and Kyler do this season? ;)

If Kyler is successful in Minnesota it won’t affect me at all. It wasn’t going to happen here.

I'm honestly not worried about it.

I think the chances of Kyler coming out the back end of a 17 game season as an effective QB are virtually nil.

Every year of his career, by mid season, he has either gotten injured outright or he's gotten dinged up enough that he becomes an ineffective checkdown QB.

My pragmatic expectation in Minnesota is that he's just going to get hurt.

Weird, I thought a large part of the narrative when DHop left AZ was Kyler is a terrible QB.

Lots of narratives about to be smashed.
- No one wants K1 (Vikings are thrilled)
- it’s all K1s fault we just need a better QB
- K1 will never be a great QB
- K1 can’t win in the playoffs
- K1 is a terrible leader

All of the above will be answered next season.

@602 Native What happened to when he's gone, you're done with him? Kyler might need to get a restraining order out on ya, for crying out loud :D
I’m not a fan of K1 any longer that is for sure.

Simply wanting to see what he does with another team due to the Cards inability to actually be at fault for not building a good team around him.

Dude, you're still a Kyler mega fan. Otherwise you wouldn't be on here trolling the Cards with constant Kyler content. It's fine if you still want to be his fan, but claiming otherwise is more than a little disingenuous.

Well call me Pinocchio then because I truly don't GAF. Naturally we'll be force fed his performance highs or lows each week because that's the way the machine works, but I'm at the age/years into my fandom where this type of deal just doesn't matter to me. I haven't thought one bit about Kyler Murray since it was determined he'd never see the field again for us and I've not looked back. We're pretty used to head scratching moves coupled with beyond abysmal QB play as fans of this team, so for K1 to go somewhere else and light it up would be par for the course. Whether or not that happens, it has zero bearings on what we need to do as an organization moving forward. I'm more disgusted by ownership and MO's obvious lack of a valid plan to replace him than the thought of Kyler Murray taking the Vikings deep into the playoffs.
He is a them problem, not an us problem now. Meanwhile we're saddled with QB 2 and 3 and almost painted in a corner to overdraft Simpson. Rise up Red Sea indeed!
