When the bullets are flying and the pocket is collapsing, as it does a lot even on good teams, tell me: Will Kyler turtle if he can't escape, more often than not, or will he step up and take a hit to make the throw?
No QB should want to take hits. That type of mentality is what ends careers early.

K1 is elusive and doesn’t need to put himself in danger unnecessarily.
You guys are so in love with only one way to play QB.
Our oline has been terrible Minnys not so much.

Can’t wait to see how it plays out either way. It will be the biggest story of the NFL going into the season.

This is the kind of unmitigated bravado I like to see.
So sure that what we saw player do in this trash heap is the same they will do anywhere else.

You must be registered for see images attach
best case scenario - same as the last - limping into a wildcard only to show his ass

arizona lost by 31 points - but you're right about minnesota being better so they might not lose by as much

Its the NFL there will be plenty times the only way to complete a pass especially a deep pass you have to know you will get hit which Kyler never ever wants to. Michael Wilson didn't just learn how to play wrs. He finally had a qb Brisset who had no problem going through his reads and taking a hit to complete a pass.

He would have had a much longer career.

You know he did retire due basically being one hit away from being a vegetable?
warner could've avoided taking hits - he also could have avoided all the playoffs and superbowls - to each his own

btw kurt warner was 38 freakin years old when he retired lol

Ok this is not getting stickied. But the "Debacle" is over in Arizona. This is the official thread for KM moving forward. No matter what happens in the off season or during next season and beyond. If someone wants to post something pro/Negative or just progress with the Vikes do it here. We don't need 1000 different threads week to week that are sure to be started depending on how he performs in season and week to week in Minny. I even changed the thread title. Any new KM threads will automatically be lumped in here from here on out. Just FYI.
The fact that we even need this thread at this point is actually pretty sad. We have enough crap to worry about with our own issues and hangups. Dude is gone and most of us have either said good riddance or good luck. Unless we're playing the Vikings at some point, I have but a fleeting issue with what that man does. Cardinals fans. What a sorry lot we are.

Warner was head hunted by the Saints

Dirty move and caused big damage to him

Who was a 28 year old rookie.

He was tough at nails, but his mobility limited his ability to avoid many hits. He only played 3 full season his entire career and he missed 53 games in 11 years, while averaging 11 games played a year, but at his best, he was one of the best. He was also 27-30 in AZ. Carson Palmer was the only QB to start more than a season to have a winning record at 38-21-1. That is how hard it is to win in AZ!!

Bro let them learn on their own.

It exposes their lack of knowledge

Imagine not knowing that lines move based on new information and new bets.
Lines move with player movement in free agency as well. Vegas gave you the value of Kyler on the Vikings and it's half a game.

But continue posting any content from anyone on Twitter to show everyone how bad we screwed this up with Kyler.

How many years did he play in the NFL?
geez bro - 12 - most starting qbs play 10 to 15 seasons

and murray isn't avoiding hits to prolong his career lol - scared is scared and kyler's scared all the time - doesn't even have be anyone around - this is why he'll never be the qb warner was - warner fight murray flight

warner was also smart enough to know where the pressure was coming from - he knew who was going to hit him - still stood in there

Bwahaha, so, your boy can play QB without one of the single most important traits QBs need: the WILLINGNESS to be hit to make a play. Thank you for outright admitting Kyler doesn't have the stones to step up in the pocket to deliver the tough throws. I never said he should want to take hits, but thanks for completely misquoting me, too :D

Kyler has missed 30 games so far in his career. Plus Kyler needs to be close to 100% to be effective because he is so reliant on his speed. He really needs to improve his accuracy if he wants a long career in the league because he isn't far from 30 years old now.

Heck, remember when Warner played with a cast on his non throwing arm? Warner had some stinker games no doubt, but the defense was a complete dumpster fire his entire time here.
