Saw this in black & white in the theater tonight (Spurs game is blacked out in Austin), and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around what I saw. Brilliant piece of filmmaking that's for sure, but not for everyone. This will be heavily represented at the Oscars, it did have that Shape of Water feel to it, but more convoluted and psychological.

Loved the first half but once it leaves the Carnival, second half... meh. But nice wrap around end beat.

Yep, it kind of dragged itself to the finish line. I wanted to like it more than I did.
