Just about anyone except Joseph and Morris please. Don't want either of them on the staff in any capacity.

"We can't get over the hump, we need to go in a new direction".

Then promotes the guy internally that has been limiting that offense.
Good friggin luck to Joe Brady. Now he gets to report directly to an old man who has zero respect for anyone and an inept GM/President. McDermott deserved/deserves their respect. Buffalo is a great community, but not the easiest place to win (consistently). No thanks.

Yeah it feels really weird it he doesn’t call plays. Wouldn’t even having that right be somewhat of a promotion since he didn’t get to in LA?

Otherwise this feels like JG 2.0
JG didn’t do what he was good at, and simply “managed” the overall team on Sundays, aka made decisions when he should call a timeout. McVay and Shanahan seem to be doing just fine calling plays and being a HC on Sundays.
A lot of guys are HCs and don't call plays. It's not the be all end all of being an HC.

I’d argue he has gotten the most out of that personnel. Khalil Shakir is their best WR & he would be a WR3 on a majority of teams.
You knew the Bills were going vanilla when they kept their GM who was as much of the issue as McDermott. I think Brady is a fine choice but unless they are able to draft better and use their cap better, it won't matter.

Coaching was allegedly the problem, so they promote their OC? Brilliant!
#3 rushing game with zero WRs. Brady wasn't the issue. Their WRs are so bad, they are going to cut their #2 guy.

#3 in rushing with no WRs. That is impressive actually. Defense was the issue.

Keep telling yourself that lol. Let’s wait to see where he lands. If he ends up with teams like Minnesota or Pittsburgh, watch out.
He didn't express an unprovable opinion. Kyler keeps coach daddy instead of working with a QB guru. Kyler admittedly doesn't kill himself watching film and breaking down defenses. From Kyler's own admissions, those are pretty damning facts that say he doesn't want to be a champion.

Now you go. What is he doing that screams he is doing everything he can to win a championship?

Crickets. Shaking fist at cloud rant. More crickets. Buehler...

Watching out for 4-6 yard passes a 68% comp percentage and lots of panic… Oh and an occasional flashy run…. Before the minor injury that sidelines him for the season. Or makes him scared to run again.
