Not sure what this has to do with the Cardinals specifically, McDermott can go sit on a beach for the next two years if he wants and earn $16 million from the Bills for doing so. Not a bad gig if you can get it!
I'd imagine he has a duty to seek employment, otherwise he won't continue getting paid - as was reported regarding Kingsbury.
Yeah, if you had a job

Why not? He is being paid a million a month for about 16 months. Let see, coach the cards, faders, or brownies, or watch from the couch.
... which makes it even more telling that he'd rather take a year off and not get paid than interview with the Raiders, Browns, or Cardinals.

Whoever gets hired 1st question will be about next year's QB. We will all have clarity then

the moment The Ambassador opened across the street from Steak44, you could feel the pull of those that wanted to eat at "the current thing".

So we are assuming Lefleur would call plays here? Why not just hire an OC and have him call plays so the HC can focus on managing the game?
I know itd be a big adjustment for him, but I don’t want Lafleur if he isn’t calling plays.

I’m signing up for an offensive guru that can reshape this side of the ball - otherwise there are guys out there who have better leader energy, game managers, and way more experience

I know it's an old concept...but just because the HC isn't calling plays doesn't mean the team isn't running his offense.
LeFleurs offense sucked when he was HC before, and McVay calls his own plays...we can't go into it believing lefleur would give us an offense reminiscent of the one game he called for the Rams.
