New Iron Maiden

Anybody else listen to the new album, "A Matter of Life and Death"? I was pretty impressed, the sound is classic Maiden and I think they will hold up very well live. The only song I didn't care for was "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg". My two favorites are "A Different World" and "The Greater Good of God".

They are touring in Japan and Europe the rest of this year, I expect them here in the Spring or early summer. I want to go!

EXCELLENT album!!!! For The Greater Good Of God is definitely the staandout track on an album that is all killer and no filler!!!!

Maiden is my all time favorite, even if just for nostalgia sake.

Yeah, it's very solid. I posted this after listening to it twice, and I like all the songs. "Reincarnation.." grew on me. "The Greater Good of God" is still my favorite though.

Nice to see a band from that era not content to just be a nostalgia group.

I'm at work right now and I'm listening to my Yahoo! Music station that I created and an Iron Maiden song from this album (A Matter Of Life And Death) is on. The song? The Legacy. Wow! I mean, AMOLAD is a complete album from start to finish. The Legacy is freakin' AMAZING! It's got all the requisite Maidenisms about it - the dueling guitars, the drums lead by the steady beat of the bell of the cymbal, Bruce's soaring vox and majestic orchestrations. The l;ast I picked up by them was Dance of Death. I really thought IT was solid. Guess I'd bnetter go check this one out.
