I think we wanted to keep the Valley jerseys since the court also had that same design and we may have wanted to keep it consistent. Then we go and change the name of the arena before game 5 of the Finals and of course we lose lol. I love our Valley jerseys but we have other combinations we can wear for sure. Coming to PHX for my birthday in February and going to the Bucks game. It’s gonna be nuts.

because Arizona has a huge Mexican-American population

this is mexican culture they’d be silly to not try and get that market even though they pretty much already have it.

These aren't going to appeal to the Latino market anymore than the Los Suns jerseys did.

Your smartazzanswer assumes that they ruled all of Mexico. Correct me if I am wrong, but the Aztec empire did not come close to that. Its dominance was actually closer to Central America.

I grew up in a Hispanic family and in the 70's Aztec culture was very popular in the Hispanic community. More recently it has been Mayan. Mexico City was founded by Aztecs. The symbol of the Eagle with a snake in it's mouth on a cactus, is straight out of Aztec mythology! Aztecs have a lot to do with Mexico!
