Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great idea, but Aztec/AZ seems a bit of a stretch.

Replace purple, black with orange trim / lettering would look better.

I love these. I love the concept and the look. The designs are complicated. Giving them greater contrast would likely overwhelm the jerseys or shorts. And this is the BEST purple I’ve seen for the team in a long time (getting away from the weird grayish purple and the blue-purple).

That said, introducing these with a black background, while “cool” visually, is stupid in terms of truly seeing what these look like as it doesn’t allow you to see the form of the jerseys/shorts very well.

The orange uniforms have purple trim. I like the road purples too just anything but the home whites. Those are generic looking trash.

I think they look great, but agree that Arizona/Aztec connection is a bit thin. These would have been amazing to wear for that Mexico City trip we did a few years back.
