The Georgia Bulldogsmen's basketball team got a major boost when Marcus "Smurf" Millender announced his return to the program, and that comes with some unforeseen perks. His brother Kemauri Millender announced he will transfer to Georgia to join him, according to The Athletic.

Kemauri Millender will transfer from the New Mexico Junior College Thunderbirds. He started all 34 games for the Thunderbirds, averaging 9.5 points, 1.3 steals, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. He also shot 40 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from behind the arc.

Before his time with New Mexico Junior College, he played in 26 games with Hill College, averaging 16.1 points, 3.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.58 steals per game. He verbally committed to UTSA at one point before his brother transferred to the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs will need a lot of help from the transfer portal again. Their leading scorer (Jeremiah Wilkinson) and All-SEC defensive team center (Somto Cyril) have announced their plans to enter the transfer portal. When the portal opens on April 7, Georgia will need to build their team from it again just like they did last offseason.

Smurf's first taste of March Madness occurred this season when he scored 13 points and notched six assists in the Bulldogs' loss to the Saint Louis Billikens. "It's surreal. It's a surreal moment," Millender said. "As a kid, I always wanted to play in the tournament, NCAA tournaments, and being on the biggest stage possible in college basketball, so it's a surreal moment." Hopefully he'll get to experience that with his brother next season.
