This is the only Marvel thing I'm really looking forward to. I'm going to see the new Cap tomorrow with a friend, but we aren't expecting much beyond "fun" parallels to today's political climate.

The literal only MCU property I care about right now.
There is not a clear picture but comes next but evidently Dead Pool is going to play a bigger part. Sign me up for that.

Excellent movie. The only good Marvel movie in a looooong time. Kind of a wet squib after the last stinger (there are 2, BTW), but the movie itself was very, very good.

To me, the last great Marvel movie is probably Shang-Chi (er, maybe No Way Home and Deadpool/Wolverine are in that bucket as well). How does it compare to those?

Best “new” Marvel property since Endgame. Thought it was a little slow out of the gates, but once Harbour shows up, the movie hums from there. Out of everything post Endgame, I probably only put Spidey 3/Guardians 3 over it. Loved the first half of Shang-Chi, but that second half sloughed off.

Agreed on Shang Chi--that was excellent. The movies aren't the same, but Thunderbolts has a surprising amount of heart to it. More cheese than Shang-Chi for sure, but that's to be expected. Much better than Deadpool/Wolverine.

Best Marvel movie since Spiderman No way Home and Shang-Chi in terms of continuity to the main story line. Deadpool was excellent but it stands more on it's own. I actually have a tad renewed hope for where things are going. The final end credit sequence foreshadows likely what is going to happen in the Fantastic 4 movie.

On what could have been another shallow Marvel movie this one explores many themes about family, team, loss, grief and does it in a organic way that works with the story and still has great actions sequences. Not to mention the humor was on point. Really good movie.
