I admit I had to look it up when I first heard about the character a ways back. I was never into the Silver Surfer comics.

Marvel has to be really worried about Phase 6. Thunderbolts was fantastic but not a huge hit. The new Marvel Disney+ show Ironheart appears to be a dud per early reviews (have not seen it).
If this movie which is supposed to be a setup movie for all of Phase 6 isn't a hit? I wonder if this derails much of Phase 6. We have seen Marvel rework it's phases before.

I really liked this last trailer for F4, but I was big into the comics for a while (as a teen in the 80's), including Power Pack which has a lot of Franklin Richards in it.
For whatever reason, The Fantastic Four seem to make a better comic than movie. I was reading the FF comics from 1962 till the very late 70's. Absolutey loved them. The first FF movie with Chris Evans as the Human Torch was good. I enjoyed it. Everything after that was not good.

Saw it today in IMAX. Great movie.
Went to see this today. They finally nailed a FF4 movie. Enjoyed this more than Superman. Also, the visual aesthetic would be perfect for a live action Jetsons. It was really cool. Not perfect by any any stretch but a good kickoff for what is to come.

The most unrealistic thing in the movie of Superheroes with a planet eating alien was that the entire planet could set aside their differences and come together for 2 days

I was skeptical...campy feel, Robert Downey, the Female Surfer,....and that Ben Grimm voice.... I was planning to wait for a Disney+ Premier and a new bag of mushroom gummies.
But,.....credible reviews are remarkably good!!

Certainly the best FF movie ever made. A lot of great stuff here. I think I like this more than Thunderbolts, which admittedly I wasn't as impressed with as the rest of you.
I think the Bride and I are going to catch a matinee on Thursday. Can't wait!!!

Wow, not even the waffling I hear about the Superman movie, which I admittedly found subpar. I had much, much less desire to see this than Supes. May end up tempted.

Honestly, I was so involved in the movie it didn't cross my mind. Maybe that is a good indicator?

I noticed it once, but at the time he was dressed in "normal" clothes and the camera angle was above looking down so it could have been an optical illusion. He was definitely taller than Johnny.

I was bored throughout the first half and never bought Pedro as Mr. Fantastic. Second half was better. End of day, have never been a big fan of the Fantastic Four… (and am lukewarm on this movie) but that didn’t stop me from from loving Guardians/Ant-Man, etc when Marvel was firing on all cylinders.
