The 2026 White Marlin Open is just around the corner, as the annual fishing tournament is set to kick-off this upcoming Monday, Aug. 3. And while the boats and big catches are always the main attraction, fans of the tournament know that the White Marlin Open festivities extend past the scales.
While the tournament's scales at Harbour Island Marina is often the place to be for people looking for an up-close look at the fish that have been caught, White Marlin Open has also introduced the Marlin Fest in recent years, which has since become a staple of the tournament.
Located on the beach at the Ocean City Inlet, Marlin Fest will be held throughout all six days of the tournament from Aug. 3-8. For those looking for an alternative way to watch what goes on at Harbour Island Marina whenever fish are weighed, there will be a livestream setup of the scales at Marlin Fest.
And in addition to that livestream, live music, vendors, food & drinks, and White Marlin Open merchandise will be a feature of the 2026 Marlin Fest at the White Marlin Open. Marlin Fest's location at the Ocean City inlet also allows fans the opportunity of an up-close look at boats returning to Ocean City, as they make their way to Harbour Island Marina, potentially with fish to weigh to get themselves onto the tournament's leaderboard.
Marlin Fest begins at 11 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. each day of the tournament.
