Magic Johnson: "If it wasn't for the YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club, I wouldn't be here today. And it was a blessing that they allowed me to sneak in because they knew I didn't pay and I couldn't pay, but they still allowed me to come in and shoot hoops, man. And every day during the summer and then on Saturdays and Sundays, you know, when I was a young man, I played in the Saturday league at the Y and then I played in the church league on Sundays at the Y. So I was in that YMCA all the time and for them to bless me to put my name on it, but also put a mural of my family inside, you know, because that's the blessing right there."
