There were plenty of tremendous performances last week in the Central Mass. boys' lacrosse season, and Jim Wilson found some of the best of them for readers to vote on to decide the Hometeam Boys' Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Congratulations to St. Bernard's Jack Van Molle, for taking the top spot in last week's poll, notching 809 votes (41.7 percent) to get past a St. John's trio of Liam Deso (386 votes), Will Lake (201 votes) and Carter Richard (186 votes) and Bernardians teammate Tyler McGeary (201 votes) for the honor.

These picks were selected from performances reported by area coaches to the Hometeam Scoreboard. Coaches or administrators are encouraged to report game results and highlights each night by calling the T&G sports desk at 508-793-9350 or emailing [email protected].

Collin Allain, Monty Tech​

Allain had six goals as the Bulldogs were edged by Old Rochester, 15-12, in a Division 3 preliminary game.

Cooper Chaves, Nipmuc​

Chaves had four goals as the Lions got past Fairhaven, 9-3, in the Division 4 playoffs.

Hunter Hatstat, AMSA​

Hatstat had four goals as the Eagles were edged, 16-12, by Lynnfield in the Division 4 first round.

Jacob Karter, Shrewsbury​

Karter's hat trick helped the Colonials hand Westford a 12-8 loss in a Division 1 first round game.

Will Lake, St. John's​

Lake had four goals to send the Pioneers to a 16-5 win over Central Catholic in a Division 1 first round game.

Ben Lane, Hudson​

Lane had five goals as the Hawks defeated Northeast, 14-1, to advance in the Division 3 state tournament.

Luke Lewis, Hudson​

Lewis notched four goals and four assists as the Hawks steamrolled past Northeast, 14-1, in a Division 3 preliminary game.

Tyler McGeary, St. Bernard's​

McGeary had four goals and one assist as the Bernardians were topped by St. John Paul II, 10-9, in a Division 3 preliminary game.

Jack Proulx, Littleton​

Proulx had six goals and one assist as the Tigers were defeated by Rockland in the Division 4 first round.

Carter Richard, St. John's​

Richard had four goals to boost the Pioneers past Central Catholic, 16-5, and advance in the Division 1 playoffs.

Max Sleeper, Leominster​

Sleeper tallied four times as the Blue Devils got past Lowell in a Division 1 preliminary game.
