based on the outcome of todays games and the tie breakers based on strength of schedule we'll be the first 8-8 team to pick wich will be in the 16 spot.

Mia will pick #1

it looks like STL #2 with Atl, Oak, KC and NYJ picking from 3-6 in no order

Bal and SF(NE) should fall in the 7 & 8 spots

Cin, Den, Car, Chi, NO, Buf & Det will be the teams picking from 9-15 in no particular order

Hou and Phi will pick 17 & 18 in no order

I think CB too and move Rolle to FS, pick up a DE in FA as our big off-season FA acquisition (who's not already our own FA).....

Remember how some fans we're upset a few years ago when the hail mary to beat the Vikings cost us the #1 pick and moved us down to #3...and we ended up woth Fitz instead of Eli Manning :)

Take Harvey and Campbell off that list for me.

The only thing Harvery ever did was make a name for himself in one national championship game. Everyone rode his jock on that one game alone during preseason, then he goes out and completely falls flat on his face his during this past season. Production was no where to be found.

Almost same scenerio for Campbell. ONly reason he was rated so high during preseason was because of measureables. He then goes out and proves measureables do not equal production and has a crappy season.

I will Groves a pass on his below average season as well only becuase he was playing on 3 brokwn toes most of the year.

Kenny Phillips is also a tad overratted as well IMO. Riding the coat tails of past Miami Safeties some bit.

I will say that the draft debates this year will be hotly debated because sitting at #16 we have way more options and possibilities then in years past.

Also have to add in my sleeper who after is all said and done I think will be considered top 20 material. OLB Shawn Crable of Michigan. Will have great measureables, perfect 3-4 OLB prospect, and leads the nation in TFL's. Combine is TFL plus his sacks and he leads the nation in stops behind the line of scrimmage.

What CB would you be leaning towards?

Not sure yet. Malcom Jenkins still has to decare plus I have only seen him play once this year. But from the buzz and talk from draft sites that I tend to trust the most he is probably the best one.

I think Cason is much faster then people give him credit for. You dont return punts and have the most INT return yards in the nation becuase you are slow. He averages over 35 yards an INT return. If we run a more zone scheme then I like Cason over Mike Jenkins. Cason is just a super smart player that knows where to be, when to switch off in zone, when to let a guy go becuase he see's, and great comminucator in zone coverage. Best zone coverage CB in the nation without question.

But if we are going to run a more man scheme then I think I pick Mike Jenkins who has more acceleration then speed, which means he can make up for mistakes in man to man coverage.

Maybe with our 2nd round pick. I wouldn't waste the first round pick on him. He's not even rated in the top 5 at his position.

Are you high? He's rated the #1 CB in the nation and slotted to go between 10-20 in the draft..

Where do people get this info from? He wont be there in the 2nd round..

With the news of AW looking for a new deal I REALLY can't see us going after a big name FA. I think we'll see Dansby signed or tagged, Pace signed and AW redone along with Fitz to get that crazy cap # down.

Are you kidding? We'll still have a TON of cap space.
