Why do I get this urge to tell Jureki to JUST SHUT UP!

Claims that Denny Green is undermining Rod Graves.

Man is Jureki a jerk!

but they were buying what the previous guy was selling? he sold piles of dog turds. Green's selling hard work, dedication, and 'do as i say'.

of course, green's system works best with 2 very strong WRs, and a good QB... we have neither, currently. maybe they ain't buyin it, cuz it's the wrong shape and size.

and that's the problem. if they ain't buyin what the coach is seling, did they ever? obviously Mac's system ate balls. Green is known as NOT being a player's coach, and many of our guys are used to being babied by Mac. they cetainly can't be buying his system cuz he's a big meanie! wah! cry! :violin:

sack up cards. you're already pi$$ing me off, and i just became a fan.

I don't always agree with Jurecki. But in this case, if he's saying that, it only fits the pattern of history that Dennis Green has established in his past.

Dennis Green's history has always been:
He is a power hungry ego maniac....Getting props, fame and admiration are what is his TOP priority.

So far I keep saying my mantra with him has been "We'll see"....well ...now we are starting "to see" a few things. And about the only major thing he's really established so far....is that this leopard isn't changing spots.

No matter what happens as far as the success of this team, Dennis Green remains basically a gutless lowlife, in my estimation. Its not just the things he does that I object to so much....as the classless and myopic way he does some of them.

Mac and Tobin may have have left some things to be desired in some areas...but they were both men of class, not only in how they handled interpersonal relations with their peers and players, but the fans too, and I have no doubt , at least they were trying to do what they thought best for the long term good of the TEAM....not Vince Tobin or Dave McGinnis.

To me Dennis Green is the V.J. Singh of football...and that ain't good. Mark my words....what goes around, comes around....and karma will end up biting Dennis Green in the butt, in due time.

  • Jureki never liked Green and has admitted he "wasn't his first choice".
  • Jureki is a press-monkey and is acting peevish because Green doesn't kiss his media-butt.
  • Jureki was DEFENDING Mac...STILL...after three lousy years because Mac was a "good 'ol boy" who DID kiss his media-butt...ignoring his lousy drafts, lousy record, his idiotic claim that his team would "Never, never, never, quit!"
  • Jureki doing his best to create contraversey based on every angle he can.
  • Several callers were pointing out these same things to him and he is condensending and ridiculing them ala Bob Kemp...but without Kemp's brains and reseach!

Even Lewis was tring to temper Jureki's comments!

They Hired Denny to do a Job; LET HIM DO IT without trying to back-bite on every opportunity.

Cmon Redheart, give the full explanation. what Jurecki said was that Rod is giving Denny the benefit of the doubt (Jurecki originally said undermining and then corrected himself) but that Graves did not agree with everything Green was doing.

Jurecki also stated that Graves signed all these extensions and now Green was basically cutting all these players and exerting his power over the organization.

Finally, Green didn't give Graves ANY warning of Kendall's cutting and Bob Wylie, Green's OL coach says he knew NOTHING about cutting Kendall until he was driving up the hill to TC and heard about it.

The beautiful thing is you don't have to tell him to shut up. You can just shut him up yourself and turn it off. I want Juerki to call it as he sees it good or bad. Mike Juereki's opinions are just that and nothing more.

The media in general is going to be critical if Green because of the way he has dealt with them since he has been here. It is the same reason they gave McGinnis so much leeway. Green brings much of the criticism on himself with his style and "bunker" mentality.

What ever the problems with Green may or may not be he will be our coach for 2-3 years minimum. Take any bricks or bouquets with a grain of salt. Ultimately he will be judged by the results on the field, not the media's opinions.

is there a team that needs a lot of shaking up MORE than this team? perennial toilet bowlers. they need someone, like DG, to come in, break this thing called a team down to it's basics, and build it all new. I for one will support whatever DG does to this team, cuz honestly it can't get much worse.

Veejay Singh just won another major. We don't know what Green will win until they suit up for real.

Mac did draft some good players; Boldin, McCown, KVB, Hill, Hayes, Wilson, and I'm sure there are a few that I missed. Also he is the coach, this team quit on him not because of him. He certainly did not get much help from the front office. I am a DG fan and think they made the right move, but I did like Mac he just had a crappy team under him. And now DG has that crappy team under him. Maybe he is undermining Graves because Graves isn't a good GM and DG wants total control. Big deal.

that's awesome! break out the noob comments! it's great to see the "i'm an old guy and that makes me superior" comments too. really holds water. I truly don't care how long you've been a fan. doesn't matter one ounce to me.

you're right though, it's better to belittle me and my opinions on the current state of my local team than face some facts about them. things like they think they're working too hard, or Green isn't a nice kissass to them and the media, or that people are being cut because they're not any good! at least not any good to the guy that's calling the shots. the guy that, were i to recall conversations a couple months ago, was nearly a godsend.

I didn't want him for some of the same reasons originally but then again I don't know of any other proven winners clamoring to come here either.

However if anyone like Graves ever gets mad about this they can look straight in the mirror because they hired the guy.

It's not like his saga isn't well documented and for anyone in the small closed fraternity of the NFL to claim any of this is shocking well then they really aren't paying attention and that scares me.

Personally if I'm Graves and I know he did things without my approval I hammer him in private and tell him next year he can golf while I draft people if he ever pulls that again.

Not saying any of this is really valid it call all be talk. I think some of this type of thing happens to the Cardinals because they are poor in terms of $ and that gives coaches like Buddy Ryan or DG the feeling that they can run the place because we don't have the $ to carry two salaries at HC.

I would always plan to have to fire a guy like DG and force him to sign a contract outlining approval authorities and giving myself an out if he didn't follow them to can him on the spot.

I bet they didn't get that.

I am personally getting tired of Jurekis constant negative talk about this team and Green. I dont agree with alot of what Green has done, but there is also plenty of other stuff to talk about with this team right now. It seems to me that MJ just doesnt like him and is using the airwaves to express his dislike.

Greens record versus Graves record...hmmm. No brainer.
Jurecki backpeddled after Lewis was trying to bring him back...he had alread planted the turd..."the jury will please disregard the last Jerk-comment"...please, I know ****-stirring when I hear it.

Wow! A coach with the balls to cut someone...what a new experience for the Cardinals. The next thing you know they may be playing for their jobs! I guess Jureki would rather keep paying for mediocraty and complancency.

I have no problem with that cut either. Green's job is to WIN and make this HIS team to do it; he decided to cut the "club-house lawyer" and send a message. Jureki is STILL beating that monkey, but Kendall used to come on his show every Monday and tell us about how "disapointed" in the teams play and the result...pretty clear conflict of interest???

As a reporter just like a fan you are going to have likes and dislikes. Nothing wrong with expressing those. Why does it piss you off?

He is constantly around the team and players he should have a good feel for whats going on!

So I guess we can put you down as one of the loyal Greenites who think Denny can do no wrong and always fall back on his past as the defense. Cool.

One question. Doesn't it make sense that if Green was going to cut Kendall, he would have had a discussion with the position coach he hired? Seems to me at least a heads up would be in order if not an outright sitdown discussion on the merits of doing it.

I am not arguing whether or not Kendall should have been cut. Just asking. Of course your answer will be:

Green's past, cut a clubhouse lawyer, Jurecki is just stirring the pot.

Tune in to Jim Rome if you hate Jurecki so much. The Rome show and his callers will enlighten you better and not provide a contrarian view.
