I think alot of people here are going to question bringing in 2 rbs, but Edge has a couple years left and are we really able to peg our hopes on Marcel and JJ?

I think Charles and Omon could be a nice backfield some day at a good value...

Zach Bowman and Maurice Purify are the only two Huskers I'd look at this year. Purify's a stud.

The mere thought of drafting more Nebraska players, given our history with them, gives me nightmares.

Other than KVB in 2001, who was a good pick, the rest make up a gruesome bunch of flops:

So far USC players are working out fine though. Gotta give LIAC some credit there.

4th rd: Kenny Iwebema DE IOWA

Kenny's an interesting pick.

If he's able to put on a bit of weight he'd make for a pretty good 3-4 DE.

Iowa does zone blitz on occasion. Kenny isn't bad dropping back, but I never thought OLB in a 3-4.

He had a knockout sophomore season but got hurt and never really bounced back.

I'd say he's an appropriate pick in the 4th or 5th, and we'd have to see if he could make it as a pro, and where.

the only problem is that you get to the fourth round and look up and realize they hadnt picked a player at their biggest need: CB

If you had gone rounds 4 and 5 with corners, that would have been okay. As a fan, I would have loved rounds 1-3 and then spent the rest of the offseason and training camp praying that whomever they picked at DB in the later rounds turned out to be adequate players.

Yeah, I am a big believer in BPA, but ,IMO, after what I vewied as the top CB's that would fit here as being gone I decided to go with BPA all the way and adress need on the backend...
