Another hour of having nails driven into my eyeballs. At this point, it's all just filled with "what" and "why" moments and agonizing segments of wife and idiot/ignoramus daughter bouncing about to fill time. One more episode to go then I'm out. Maybe if they removed fake boobs and doofus daughter from the show I'd consider a season three, but not likely.

Why did Cami fly Tommy out to Louisiana just to fire him? Why not just fire him back home?
Yep, I'm with you with all of that. Also, the non-dumb women stuff isn't any good any longer either. The only decent female character left on the show, they went stupid with.

This show is flat-out garbage now.

I'm with you on the dick move of bringing him only to fire him. ******* owner has now signed up with a drug kingpin and "stuck to her husband's word" against all reason. No doubt it will all work for her in Season 3 somehow because plot armor. Oh, and I'm sure Sam Elliot will get to doink the hot chick in the finale. Oh, and let's take our only decent female character and for no reason whatsoever do the dumb rape trope thing.

Last episode might be the best of 10. Minimal time spent on wife and daughter (they tried to soften them both a bit, but it's far too late for that), nice subplot with the son, and lots and lots of gritty, grimy, down-in-the-dirt, sucker punching oil business.

I was going to say something similar. Hopefully lessons were learned this season about what works and what doesn’t.

Agree episode 10 was better, and leaves the door open for many different scenarios. Hopefully less mom and daughter goofiness next season

I just finished episode eight of season 2 and I also found out I have three bulging discs in my lower back… I think I’m gonna start a GoFundMe for physical therapy seemed to work well for Sam Elliott’s character :)
