5 games where we scored less than 15 points

3 games without a single offensive touchdown

Similar to Kyler’s rollercoaster performances - this offense was also all over the place and certainly did not produce up to expectations throughout the season consistently. Aside from a couple games last season- were you really satisfied with the offensive unit? There’s a lot to prove this year

I was not satisfied, no.

But, before the season started, most of us had talked ourselves into the offensive unit being a top ten, maybe even a top five unit that would carry the team.

So the question is, why? Why did it fall short of top ten status, and miserably fail to produce in several games?

Some of it is on Murray. But not all of it.

Because we're fans and have unreasonably high expectations for our team?

my wife worked at a yoga studio d-hop went to while in az - he comfortably said (in front of several people) that kyler "sucks"

but honestly - d-hop probably says that about every qb that doesn't get him the ball enough
My barrista told me that Kyler killed 2 kids and the police didn't do a thing.

Unreal!

Uh huh. Not wanting to put up with hateful nonsense is "soft." I could turn this into a P&R post, but I won't. Just take the L and move on.
lol no L to take here. Happy to call Petz what his playcalling is - trash. Sensitive keyboard warriors crack me up.

I woke up with a lot of optimism today. Now that our defense isnt trash panda city and hopefully can be relied on to get us the ball back more - I wonder if petzing will be more aggressive, especially in the downfield pass game instead of trying to have long slow drives in the run game to keep the defense off the field.

That and Kyler on record stating he wants to be utilized in the ground game more this season can really open this offense up.

I like this perspective and am wishful that is the case as well with Petz playcalling and Kyler willing to run more

What I'm really curious about is is he willing/able to cut and change direction on his rebuilt knee like he used to before the injury.

I just don't see how psychologically a person could ever get over that.

Plenty of players have.. just ask Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore (he tore both knees in college) just to name a few.

If Kyler can maintain being a dual threat this season, Cards go to the playoffs, outright win the Division. He'll need to take on some contract in order to keep defenses on edge. Otherwise, with another G WR, this team looks like they could surprise the heck out of the NFL. It'll be about finishing.

Players who aren’t historically mentally weak have been doing this for decades after tearing ACLs. You need to no further than look Saquon, who should have won the NFL MVP from last year.

I’m relatively certain Josh Allen never tore his ACL, but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re right….. players come back from ACL tears all the time and are still stars. Not so sure why crimson is so worried about it?
