The Suns were the worst 4th quarter team in the NBA coming into tonight's game.

Tonight I said Vogel's line ups were like random Powerball tickets with no logic - quick picks if you will - then he went fast on the fastest team in the NBA - he ran the big 3 and instead of choosing between Grayson and Gordon he played both - left Nurk and all our fake forwards on the bench - kings didn't know what hit them

And Gordon was virtually unplayable before the 4th quarter. He was TERRIBLE.

Great win with heart in the 4th. Small ball with KD on Sabonis and unlimited def. switches on the perimeter was the key. And on offense we found our clutch shooters in KD and EG who was cold most of the game, despite with Book and Beal both on the court. Why couldn't we play better defense the whole game, man! We were in the -22pt deap hole in the 4th mainly because our bad defense. Several times our guys just stood in no-man's spot, and a couple times bad communications on switches, to give them open shots. Small ball words only vs. Kings who are small themselves, but we won't stand a chance against any other top teams outside Kings and Pacers. KD can't be always our savior on both sides.

Against certain teams absolutely but not all teams play fast like the Kings they are little outlier, like the old 7 seconds or less Suns back in the day!
Sorry but without Nurk's 15 boards we wouldn't have made the comeback. Maybe he shouldn't be in the game late against a fast team, but he has value in other ways.

all teams can’t and won’t score like the Kings either! Of course you can’t go small all the time but you can mix it up when you need speed and traditional not working! Hopefully Vogel remembers this and incorporates it into terrible 4th quarters moving forward!

Its
That lineup of Book, Beal, Allen, Gordon and KD is pretty tough to defend (all good to great 3point shooters), it's all contingent on whether they can get the defensive intensity up like that.
Its not a five you run together at all times but definitely can be a closing 5 if you need it!

We always start the game with tentative defense. And if our O didn't go early, we'd be in trouble. And Fox hit several hands-in-your-face 3s...

A few of their guys hit some contested 3s that’s what makes it tough when you play de ent to good D then they make crazy shot anyway. They definitely need to be more consistent on D but they did at times and it still didn’t stop them.
