This is baloney. We had a really bad night shooting the 3. That is the only reason we lost.

I don't know anymore. I don't trust the Suns' offensive strategy (shoot a lot, especially from distance, hope the shots fall, and do not go near the basket). I don't trust it to consistently beat anyone. They were winning in spite of it. And these losses showed that when the shots miss, scrapping isn't enough. I wonder which assistant coach, if any, is the offensive strategist? He should be fired.

I forgot who the Mavericks even have anymore. Traded Doncic, traded Davis. ...Irving. Old and post-injury. Is he even playing?

Oh, yes--the Mavericks also have a touted rookie named Flagg. I know they dumped all their best non-rookie players and apparently want to rebuild the entire team around Captain Flagg--shoot, they must be having a ball playing with his surname over there--and that's why they were willing to dump Davis. So they apparently don't mind blowing up their whole team except for one player. I didn't realize how bad their record consequently is. I'm not sure they're tanking, but they're not trying very hard to win. Maybe the Suns' shooting will heat up again, they'll manage to win against this bad team, and everyone except me will ignore that it's a bad idea to rely on distance shooting.
dallas has been a lot more competitive this year than initially expected. I think everyone expected AD to miss a lot of games and get traded, especially after Harrison got fired. Flagg has had a much better rookie season than expected as well. They did keep some players that they like, and they will have a better team next year, hopefully another good first round pick. I guess I never thought of it, but you are the first person that I've heard bring that up about his surname.

Marc Stein also announced today that there's a buyer group with Mark Cuban that wants to buy the mavericks from Addelson who has a lot of ties to Las Vegas. Maybe the mavericks can make a trade with Lebron. Mavs get Luka Doncic and Bronnie for a guarantee to Lebron that they will play Bronnie 5 mins per quarter season.

I laughed at that, but hopefully nothing bad personally for Klay. "not with the team"sounds like it's a veiled attack by Kidd.

Minnesota, in 6th place in the West, beats the Hawks tonight. They have two more wins than the Suns.

Both teams have 22 losses.

Good lord the overreactions on the board are getting ridiculous. We get a lot of good three point looks and we have three terrific three point shooters and three streaky three point shooters. Our offensive philosophy is sound. It’s just tough when our three of our four best bucket getters (book, green and Allen) are out. There’s no one able to break down the defense and create gravity for our shooters in their absence. If we get back to full health we will be fine.

3's were not falling in that game but that's when you take it to the hole and ram it down for a sure 2 and sometimes get that and 1. Williams & Goodwin are the only ones who are doing that. Jalen Green can also ran to the rim if he can ever get healed up. But I was hoping we get a big 6-9 or taller mobile brut rebounder who can also score at the rim type power forward before the trade deadline.

That's a need the Suns seem to never want to address though. Starting 6-4 to 6-6 forwards anchoring only one big 7'1" (Williams) is not enough length. We did the same thing that 2021 finals with 6-6 Bridges and 6'5 Crowder (two non rebounders & non drivers to the rim scorers) anchoring (now forgetable) 6-11 Ayton.
Brooks shoots 3's & mid range while Royce is just good for 3's although he hustles but he's not a rebounder neither is Brooks as both rebound like small guards. 1-5 rebounds each is inadequate.

3's and mid range are cool but you gotta take that ball to hole and mix it up. Use all the offensive threats. Play a complete offensive game. We gotta get this win against the Rookie of Year Flagg & Mavs tonight. Go Suns!

The Suns have lost three out of their last four games. Winning has to begin tonight.
