If they want to keep milking Trek they need to move away from TV and get Chris, Zach, Zoe, Karl, and all the boys back together again.
They had 4 movies left with that cast at least....
Perfect alternate timeliness set up that's basically going to waste.
I understand the kid died. But that's not reason to stop making the movies..either recast Chekov, or kill him off off screen and hire a replacement...again, alternate timeline already established

These were best Star Wars movies made in the last 20 years. They weren't Star Trek. I swear that JJ got his franchises mixed up when he made them.

True but if they don't believe in something it likely never gets off the ground let alone gets a 2nd season. There are plenty of crappy producers. I think the criticism of her in some cases is warranted and in others extreme.

Nah. I can name a number of them I like but we all have different taste.
