We’ll have to agree to disagree on whether Love is half the prospect Jeanty/Bijan were. Scouting services say different.
Half is an exaggeration but I do think Jeanty and Bijan are significantly better.

What’s your guys thoughts drafting who seems to be a playmaking stud RB. Especially in light of no worthy QB available at #3, nor a no brainer OT that early. Get your OT/G in round 2/3. We need play makers. When I watch Love, I see Bijan. Thoughts?
Is he Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell or Adrian Peterson Good that would be the only way he should go #3

I can see taking him if he's BPA. I don't even know who the #2 RB is.

Why take a RT over a stud RB? Going from memory, most RBs taken in the top 10 are pretty good in the NFL. Ezekiel Elliott, Bijan, Barkley are all great picks.

It's a weak class for OL and DL. All tye edges have question marks.

Sure you can get a good RB later that can be successful. Same can be said about RT.
Caleb Diwns is the surest, best defensive player in the draft. Don't take him because he's a safety even though he's clearly the highest rated player?

Cards aren't getting a top QB. RB is becoming more prominent again.

I don't think he's as good of a prospect as Robinson or Jeanty.

It would be really poor use of draft capital to take him at 3 with no QB or o line in place.

I think if we pick at #3 it has to be a QB that slips...or a pass rusher who clearly is better than others.

If not, then trade down and load up on trench talent.

If the choice was Love with our current line....or Benson with 2 first round picks added to our o line ...I would take benson every time

The running backs in Atlanta and Indy have made a difference.

I mean if they make the right moves before the draft I would be ok with it. Assuming he is Gibbs/Bijan level. I haven’t seen him play so I don’t know if that’s true or not.

He’s Matt Miller’s #1 overall prospect. Says he’s on par with Bijan and Gibbs.

I want OL or Edge, but I wouldn't be angry if they went with Love because the skill position groups on offense would be pretty damn good adding him to the mix

I would love it if the oline gets taken care of prior to the draft. I’m a huge fan of Gibbs and Bijan and if he’s that then yes please. I also think MO might want a guy that makes an instant impact this year and an impact that fans can see.

I was on the wrong side of the Peterson/Brown debate so I won't hate drafting Love. Thing is we would have lots of ammo and no gun.

The key is free agency. If we did everything we could/should do in free agency then alright.

Big FA year. If we can bring in two - three OL starters at RT and both guards that would free up RB if he is that good. Conner will be a year older and slower and Benson is always hurt. Sucks that we lost a CB and Nolen at the end of the year. DL LB are big needs as well. Just way too many holes. Let Brisset start and draft a QB late round one with trade back in or in R2. Getting a second for KM would be a bonus

He's like that pretty Lambo you see at the dealership. You'd love it, but you have a family and need a minivan to lug them around in. I WISH we could snag him. Watching Bijan has made me long for a back like him.
As Rod Graves said to Levi Brown when he passed on Adrian Peterson.

My hope:
* We keep Kyler.
* Rd. 1 -Love
* Rd. 2-OL
* Rd. 3-QB
In FA, we sign two OL and one WR. Also, keep Jacoby. Just my hope.

Not that I wouldn't love Love on the team, but we have bigger fish to fry. After that pick, I can roll with that draft. In no world can I roll it back with Kyler again. That would be the dumbest thing ever, IMO, and I would be darker than the darkest darksider from that point on.

Stout, I see where you're coming from, but who do want to be our starting QB?

God no.
unless we get Moore or Mendoza Brissett will be our starter. You or I might not like the thought but I guess we could use Daniel Jones as an example.
If we had signed Daniel Jones here this site would have been burned to the ground.
However, he landed on a team that was ready to win. O-line, a running game, and decent receivers. Suddenly Danny Dimes look more than adequate. Here, he would have been terrible and similar to the Giants debacle.
If I’m correct we would need to sign 1 or 2 f/a o - linemen and a running back other than Connor ( and they’re out there!). I have to believe any head coach and staff in particular the OC will be better than we had. It might be enough to help Brissett keep us around .500.
Oh, and our schedule as it looks next year is BRUTAL. My guess is over/under wins going into next year will be 6 1/2 no matter who the qb is.
